Education & Counseling

The agency’s counseling program has been approved by Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) -- the state housing finance agency -- and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The counseling services provided by REACH include:

• Pre-purchase counseling
• Homebuyer education
• Budget and credit counseling
• Post-purchase education and counseling
• Predatory lending education
• Mortgage delinquency / default counseling
• Loss mitigation
• Reverse mortgage counseling

To begin your quest towards homeownership, you must register to attend an orientation session. Orientations are held three (3) times a month, and sessions last approximately one hour. Please call 859 – 455 – 8057 to reserve your spot in a future orientation session.

Other group homebuyer education classes are also offered regularly at the REACH office. Our education and counseling programs are available to clients at no or little costs.
